Resume Analyzer
Find out what is holding your resume back
Two modes: a general health check of the document itself, and a job-specific match report against a description you paste.
Scores are estimates produced by analysing your document — they are not readings from any employer's applicant tracking system.
How it works
- 1
Add a resume
Upload a PDF, DOCX or TXT file, or paste text. Review what we extracted before it is saved.
- 2
Pick a mode
Run a general analysis, or paste a job description for a targeted match report.
- 3
Work the fix list
Issues are ordered by impact, each with the section it affects and why it matters.
What you get
Category scores
ATS readability, keyword relevance, impact and metrics, clarity, and formatting — each scored separately so you know where to spend effort.
Formatting warnings
Tables, text in images, unusual columns and header/footer content are flagged with an explanation of the parsing risk.
Prioritised checklist
A working list of concrete changes, highest impact first, that you can tick off as you edit.
Section-by-section notes
Feedback attached to the specific bullet or section it refers to, rather than one vague summary.
What this tool will not do
- It cannot tell you how a specific employer's ATS will score you — those systems are private and configured per company.
- It will not add skills, tools, employers or metrics that your resume does not already support.
- It does not rewrite your document automatically; every change is a suggestion you approve.
- Parsing is reliable for standard layouts and best-effort for complex ones — you can always correct the extracted text.
