Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what control you have. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.

Last updated: this policy is maintained alongside the product and is updated when our data handling changes.

What we collect

  • Account data: email address, and any name, job title, location or career details you choose to add to your profile.
  • Documents you provide: resumes you upload or paste, job descriptions, cover letters, interview answers and notes you write.
  • Generated content: analyses, suggestions, drafts and feedback produced from your inputs.
  • Usage records: which features you used and when, so plan limits can be enforced accurately.
  • Technical data: standard request logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How your documents are stored

Files are held in private storage. Access is scoped to your account at the database level, so another user's request cannot return your rows. Downloads are served through short-lived signed links generated only for your session. Administrators do not browse resume content as part of normal operation.

AI processing

To analyse, tailor or draft, the relevant text is sent to a language model provider over an encrypted connection. Only the content needed for that request is sent. Content you upload is treated as data, never as instructions to the system. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your documents to advertise to you.

Retention

Your documents and generated content stay until you delete them or delete your account. Deleting a resume removes its stored file and versions. Deleting your account removes your stored documents and generated content; limited records may be retained where required for legal, tax or fraud-prevention purposes.

Your rights

You can access and correct your information in the app, export your personal data, and delete your account from Settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to or restrict certain processing. Requests can be sent through the contact form.

We use cookies and similar storage for sign-in sessions and essential preferences. See the Cookie Policy for details.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 16, and accounts should not be created by them.
